Sermon Outline
1. God's agape love exceeds anything else we might do or be (vs. 1-3)
Knowledge, achievement and sacrifice are NOTHING without love; it even exceeds faith and hope (vs. 13)
2. God's agape love is immutable and unselfish (vs. 4-7)
God's love can NEVER be produced by our broken humanity
3. God's agape love gives us unlimited potential (vs. 8-12)
Brings growth and understanding that allow us to become a spiritual mature human being
We can even learn to love those who are NOT like us.
As a gift given by God, AGAPE LOVE must be received and appropriated in order to bear fruit in our life.
"But God demonstrates his own love towards us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
To what degree does God's agape love define your life?
